We received the first information on our upcoming AmeriCorps NCCC team, Silver 4!

Previous projects included ecological restoration on Catalina Island, tutoring and mentoring at an elementary school, and fuel reduction/trail maintenance at a camp in California. We think they’re going to be a great fit!

When here, the team will be working primarily with the summer camp at the Community Center and on the Habitat for Humanity house.

We’re looking forward to their arrival day on May 17. They’ll be serving our community for eight weeks. Locals may contact us today if you have any requests for side projects for this team.
